A majestic falcon with a 10m wingspan, adorned in golden sculpted shards, was designed to capture the bird's stately presence and realistic movements. As the national emblem of the UAE, the falcon symbolises strength and heritage. The Falcon made it's debut at the Dubai World Expo in 2022 for David Atkins Enterprises.
Inspired by the critically endangered Sumatran Tiger, this 5-meter-long illuminated puppet symbolises the tiger's majesty and vulnerability. Operated by three puppeteers, it roams Electric Kingdom, captivating audiences with its graceful movements and unique soundscape. As a guardian of the kingdom, it highlights the importance of protecting endangered species.
In collaboration with Indigenous artists Kambarni and Boox Kid, the Snake-Necked Turtle, known as Yaakan Booyi or Choonya in Noongar, made its debut at Joondalup Festival. This 6-meter puppet, representing a near-threatened species, highlights the cultural significance of the turtle to Western Australia, blending local heritage with lifelike, mesmerising movements.
In 2020, we collaborated with First Nations artist Elizabeth Close and Kaurna Elder Jack Buckskin to create Tarutharu, a 27-meter sculpture of the endangered Kaurna Skink. This project symbolises the deep connection Indigenous peoples have with Country, marking the first public interpretation of the skink's story through art and soundscape.
Two impressive 6-meter illuminated pandas enchant audiences with their playful antics, including rolling on their backs and nibbling bamboo. Their lifelike movements and internal lighting create a magical atmosphere. Despite their charm, pandas remain classified as vulnerable by the IUCN, highlighting the need for conservation efforts.
The Giraffes consist of two 6-meter-high giant inflatable giraffe installations. Their internal lighting is programmed to sync with a playful soundscape. The installations were configured in an arch at the entryway of the event to welcome audiences.
To add a whimsical twist to the two 4.5-metre-high Cassowaries, we’ve adorned them with enormous Air Jordan sneakers. Given the Cassowaries reputation for using their powerful feet and sharp claws, this unexpected combination brings an element of fun and surprise to the experience.
The Underwater Wonderland is an immersive journey featuring roaming suit puppets like crabs, tuna, and dolphins. Ten luminescent jellyfish float gracefully, accompanied by kelp, five glowing fish, ten giant color-changing corals, and a stunning 3-meter angler fish, captivating visitors of all ages in this enchanting underwater world.
The White Arabian Horse, symbolising chivalry and courage in Islamic culture, stands 4.5 meters tall and nearly 5 meters long, embodying grace and grandeur. This majestic puppet, crafted by A Blanck Canvas, debuted at Saudi Arabia's Ithra Museum during the Founding Day celebration, brought to life by our expert puppeteers.
Among our most beloved inflatable suit puppets stands the towering Giant Hyena, a captivating presence that roamed the parks surrounding the museum. This endearing puppet garnered adoration from the crowds, as hundreds of children eagerly interacted with the playful Hyena, eliciting laughs and smiles night after night.
Did someone mention GIANT? The endearing Giant Inflatable Foxes stole the show as incredible installations at the Ithra Museum. Standing tall at a remarkable 6 meters high, these illuminated foxes became iconic stationary features, towering majestically over the park.
Each of the four graceful Oryxes made a stunning appearance at the Ithra Museum in 2024. Inspired by our renowned National Day 47 Oryxes, these intricate suit puppets captivated audiences as they elegantly roamed the grounds, interacting with children and grazing on nearby shrubs.
To infuse Saudi Arabia with vibrancy and whimsy, A Blanck Canvas introduced five lively Flamingos at the Ithra Museum. These spirited suit puppets, adapted from our previous creations for National Day 47, added a playful touch to the surroundings.
Electric Kingdom collaborates with First Nations artists to create stunning art projections. Partnering with Elizabeth Close, we developed live projections inspired by the Kaurna Skink's artwork. The event also showcases an interactive piece by Samantha Richards, blending traditional and modern Indigenous culture through her venture, Connecting Two Worlds.
